Zoe Sing, BA (She/Her)
Clinical Intern
Zoe is a clinical intern and graduate student at the University of Chicago where she is specializing in trauma responsive social work and contemporary psychodynamic therapy. She is passionate about providing sex- and kink-positive therapy, particularly to those exploring relational dynamics, gender identity, and sexuality. She is also interested in working with people navigating the impacts of trauma and/or intimate partner violence.
Zoe utilizes a mix of modalities from a base of queer and feminist theory. She aims to tailor the therapeutic process to each client’s strengths, needs, and intersectional identities. Her academic foundations in cognitive neuroscience afford her a unique clinical perspective and ground her understanding of attachment and trauma.
As a relational therapist and social worker in training, Zoe believes in the necessity of understanding her clients within the context of their history, identities, and the systems that impact them. Her relational approach prioritizes fostering connection with her clients to create an authentically collaborative environment centered on compassion, curiosity, and trust.
