Talia DeRogatis, ACSW (She/Her)

Staff Therapist

Talia is a holistic, intuitive, and decolonial psychotherapist with a passion for supporting clients as they move from coping to deeper healing. A proud descendant of wise curanderas, nurturing nonnas, and freedom-fighting queers, Talia’s approach centers love, lineage, and liberation.

As a body and spirit-led practitioner, Talia guides clients in exploring the root cause of their patterns and cycles, learning the language of their bodies, connecting to their intuition, and cultivating belonging from within. She has lived and professional experience with cyclical depression and anxiety, healing childhood and ancestral wounds, navigating chronic illness and neurodivergence, and supporting queer, multicultural, and polyamorous relationships. Talia is especially devoted to accompanying clients through major changes in their lives, relationships, and identities. Whether you are grieving a loss, exploring a new identity, breaking a generational cycle, adjusting to a changing body, letting go, starting over, or feeling lost and disconnected from yourself and others, Talia views these moments of uncertainty and upheaval as powerful opportunities to tend to our roots.

A session with Talia is casual yet intimate. Our work together will gently encourage you to shift out of your head and into your heart, to practice honesty and authenticity in and outside of session, to feel deeply, to be present and patient with yourself and your process, and to release the idea of healing as an individual self-improvement project. In our work together, we will lean into community and spirituality, pathologize oppressive systems and not ourselves, and move with the belief that emotions are meant to be expressed and not eradicated. We will practice tending to and bearing witness to pain over curing or solving it, moving beyond self-analyzing and toward self-attunement. Talia’s approach is not about chasing a better version of yourself, but about finding practices, rituals, and relationships that can hold and nurture you exactly where you are.

Talia believes that true wellness comes from remembering and restoring life-giving connections—with ourselves, our bodies, our communities, our lineages, and the world around us. Talia is also currently apprenticing as a Spiritual Herbalist, and her therapeutic approach will continue to be inspired by the pace, wisdom, and medicine of Nature.
