Mary Hellstrom, LMFT (She/Her)
Staff Therapist, Clinical Supervisor
Mary is a queer-identifying Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with 5 years of experience providing therapy to clients of all ages, from a wide breadth of backgrounds and life experiences. She works intently with her clients to foster a space fueled by warmth, acceptance, compassion, courage, and honesty.
Mary works to maintain a posture of cultural curiosity, respect, and awareness of her own privilege with each of her clients, as she remains actively involved in anti-racist advocacy and education in her personal life. She has an interest in supporting clients as they explore their histories of religious/spiritual/cultural harm, particularly in regards to experiences of power dynamics, shame, sexuality, gender, and identity.
She is also passionate about supporting individuals and couples in building greater experiences of empathy, pleasure, sexual freedom, empowerment, and joy in their daily lives. Mary believes in the power of story- and looks forward to hearing, honoring, and exploring your own unique and powerful narrative.
Mary practices therapy in Hawaii and offers coaching anywhere.
