Kamil Lewis, LMFT (She/Her)
Staff Therapist, CPO
Kamil is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose collaborative approach to wellness allows her to work with clients to cultivate a relationship where their unique needs can be seen and supported. As a Black bisexual woman, Kamil prioritizes integrating identity into the therapeutic process. She has a particular passion for working with Black women who may find themselves struggling to feel heard, represented, and navigate intimacy. Kamil believes that therapy is a social justice matter, therapy is political, and her work reflects that.
In your work with Kamil, together you will investigate how to expand upon your network and community, and look at what connections are most meaningful to you. With sex and pleasure positivity and social consciousness, your work will be centered on empowerment, finding ways to get your needs met, and making space for joy and pleasure.
Kamil is passionate about providing a non-judgmental space to support growth and resilience and work to highlight and expand upon existing strengths. Kamil values showing up authentically with clients, believing that authenticity is foundational in creating a safe therapeutic relationship. With compassion and vulnerability, she integrates the mind, body, and community to cultivate a holistic approach to mental health. Looking for support is courageous, and Kamil is excited to sit with you on your journey.
Kamil practices therapy in California and offers coaching anywhere.
