Evelyn Pechous, AMFT (She/Her)

Staff Therapist

Evelyn is a queer, biracial Latina, who values and understands the importance of understanding, exploring, and centering our identities. Understanding the resiliencies and strengths of her family through storytelling has enabled her to reflect on the way we all experience courage.

Evelyn was first drawn to mental health as a community organizer, uplifting community leaders to change systemic barriers through storytelling. She incorporates the importance of stories through a narrative therapy approach, and believes that you are the expert of your own story. Her hope is to work together to identify what narratives deserve to hold space in your story.

Evelyn practices therapy in Illinois and offers coaching anywhere.
