Our personal histories, identities, cultures, and social environments can influence many aspects of our life, like our mental, physical, and sexual well-being. Ava helps you assess your relationships and surroundings so you can develop strategies to make life more pleasurable, manageable, and fulfilling. Together you’ll work to expand your support systems, explore your values, and find your voice.
Ava collaborates with individuals, couples, and relationships who are navigating a wide range of experiences. Her areas of expertise include the exploration of social identities, sexualization and fetishization, relationship and attachment history, boundary-setting, porn literacy, substance use, immigration and assimilation, and generational trauma. Ava’s practice is guided by multicultural, relational, somatic, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive therapy frameworks.
Her practice gives space to celebrate, grieve, and reflect on your past, present, and future. No matter the topics you’re exploring, Ava aims to create a space where you can comfortably and openly share your thoughts, desires, emotions, and experiences.
Ava is fluent in Farsi and is able to hold conversations in Farsi and English.
