Why Choose Groups?
Cheaper
According to Healthline, the average cost for individual therapy in the U.S. for in-person and virtual appointments is between $85 and $250 per session–that’s why we offer more affordable options: Group Therapy and Support Groups for as little as $0. While not a replacement for therapy itself, our group offerings promote community healing that has its own benefits.
Accessible
Our therapy and support groups create space for diverse folks to heal in community, whether online or in person. These groups offer an affordable alternative to therapy and a powerful reminder that you’re not alone. Together, we share, connect, and affirm one another—because knowing you’re not alone is sometimes the first step toward healing.
Trusted
The facilitator of each group is a provider at The Expansive Group who lends their expertise to guide anti-oppressive and culturally responsive groups with compassion and care.
